| A work session meeting of the Board of Education was held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in the Administration Building, 379 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m. by President, Mrs. Carroll. Mrs. Carroll read the following statement: "Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Meeting Act, Public Law 1975, Chapter 231, the Board Secretary caused notice of this meeting to be given to the public and the press on April 11, 2006". Roll Call was taken by Joseph T. Bellino, School Business Administrator/Board Secretary, and the following members responded to their names: Present - Mr. DeLorenzo, Mr. Ruroede (Arr 7:00 pm), Mr. Giarratana,
Mr. Van Hook, Mrs. Hodulik (Left 7:00pm), Mrs. Carroll RESOLUTION: Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of the
New Jersey Open Public Now, Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education adjourn to Private Session for the purpose of discussing such matters, and Be It Further Resolved, that the public be informed of these matters as soon as the need to remain confidential is no longer necessary at a future date to be determined. Meeting adjourned to private session at 6:32 p.m. Meeting was reopened at 7:20 p.m. President’s Report - See Report Correspondence/Business Administrators Report - See Report Superintendent’s Report Community Relations Committee - No Report Education Committee Mr. Giarratana reviewed resolutions to be acted upon at the April 19, 2006 public meeting. Technology Committee - No Report Facilities Committee The board discussed use of facilities by outside groups. Soccer Association shed not going forward due to lack of funds for original plan. Smaller shed offered but not desirable. Mr. Van Hook reviewed resolutions to be acted upon at the April 19, 2006 public meeting. Recreation Committee Mr. DeLorenzo reviewed resolutions to be acted upon at the April 19, 2006 public meeting. Finance Committee Mr. Ruroede reviewed resolutions to be acted upon at the April 19, 2006 public meeting.
