A regular meeting
of the Board of Education was held on Thursday, October 19, 2006
in the Middle/High School auditorium, 365 Boulevard, Hasbrouck
Heights, New Jersey. The meeting was called to
order at 8:00 p.m. by President, Mr. Ruroede.
Mr. Ruroede read the following statement:
"Pursuant
to the New Jersey Open Public Meeting Act, Public Law 1975, Chapter
231, the Board Secretary caused notice of this meeting to be
given to the public and the press on May 4, 2006.

Mr. Ruroede led the Board in the flag salute.
Presentations – Violence and Vandalism Report pursuant to
P.L 2000, c.299 – Mr. Luongo presented the Violence and Vandalism
Report. He reviewed all school activities. Comments and questions
on the number of incidents from year to year. He stated the number
of incidents increased, but that the new security cameras with
a direct link to the police department should help in the future.
