Be It Resolved that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education permit attendance of student RH grade 11 to attend the district school without payment of tuition for the 2007-2008 school year. Student RH will be responsible for transportation without cost to the district.

Be It Resolved that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools and High School Principal, the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education award diplomas to the following students who have now satisfactorily completed the course of study required for graduation from Hasbrouck Heights High School and that the Board Secretary and Board President be authorized to sign said diplomas on behalf of the Board of Education:

Be It Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the contract with Bergen County Special Services School District to provide the Suspension Alternative Program for district students as needed for the 2007-2008 school year.

Be It Resolved that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the following revised list of paraprofessional appointments and substitutes for the 2007-2008 school year as per Attachments B1 and B2.

Be It Resolved that, upon the recommendation of the Superintend of Schools, the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the following assignments for the 2007-2008 school year at the position and salary rate indicated:
E. Manzella            Coordinator of Alternative Proficiency Assessment (APA)
                              $1,500 per year

P. Alosco, S.White ABA instructional and behavioral services-$4,000 per
And D. Wipper       year each plus 30 hours of ABA training at $14.74 per hr.

Be it Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the following reports in accordance with NJAC 6A:23-2.11(a) and NJAC 6A:23-2.11(b) which are file in the office of the Board Secretary:

  2. Report of the Treasurer of School Funds for the month of June, 2007

Be It Further Resolved, that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve and ratify the following appropriation transfers for the 2006-2007 school year as per Attachment F.

Be it Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education pursuant to NJAC 6A:23-2.11-4 and upon consultation with district officials, certifies that to the best of its knowledge, no major account of funds have been over expended in violation of NJAC 6A:23-2.11(a) and that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the year.

Be it Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the
actual payroll for the month of July, 2007 in the amount of $558,956 and that the President of the Board, the School Business Administrator, and the Treasurer of School Funds be, and they hereby are, authorized to sign warrants up to and including the above $558,596.

Be it Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the
estimated payroll for the month of August, 2007 in the amount of $550,000 and that the President of the Board, the School Business Administrator, and the Treasurer of School Funds be, and they hereby are, authorized to sign warrants up to and including the above $550,000.

Be it Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approves the appropriation of fund balance in the 2006-2007 school year in the amount of $136,579.

 

RESOLUTION:

Be It Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the carryover of unused  vacation as of July 1, 2007 to be a total of 68 days.in accordance with the provisions of the contract of Superintendent Joseph Luongo.

Be It Resolved that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve a
lease/purchase agreement with Susquehanna Patriot Leasing for the purchase of additional security equipment for the M/HS Hitchcock Field, Depken Field, and Franklin FC to be paid in semi-annual installments not to exceed $5,500 with a $1.00 buy-out.

Be It Further Resolved, that the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education approve the Submission of an application to the NJDOE pursuant to NJAC 6A:26-10.
